Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £32,909 to £34,723 per annum (Grade I) | Norwich
We’re looking for a Lead Communications Officer to join an award winning communications team, working at the heart of Norfolk County Council.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. You will plan, deliver and monitor communications campaigns across broadcast, print, digital and social media as well as working to protect the reputation of the organisation through proactive and reactive media and crisis management work.
We’re looking for someone creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a real passion for excellence in digital. You will be responsible for the communications for a range of departments, so it’s vital that you’re a self-starter with an ability to manage competing pressures.
Norfolk County Council provides a wide range of services for people who live, visit or do business in Norfolk. They include environment, highways, libraries, museums, economic development, children’s services and schools, adult social services, waste disposal and adult learning.
This is a hybrid role with essential office-based working from County Hall in Norwich.
