The Launch and Data function sits within the GSK Ware Manufacturing site’s Logistics Management team. The team is responsible for providing the site with accurate and timely data to facilitate new product launches and to ensure that all aspects of the manufacture of products are performed in a controlled manner and meets commitments to international regulatory bodies, as well as the requirements of current Good Manufacturing Practice.

Reporting into the Harmonisation Manager (for the Process, Launch and Data team), the Lead Co-ordinator is the owner of the Site Batch Document maintenance process across both streams, whilst support Tech M linking & data activities. The role provides the opportunity to manage key activities and other coordinators to ensure document and data is provided on time and right first time.

Key Responsibilities (include..,):

  • Serving as the Site Local Business Owner for Batch Document Process, including governance, process, management, monitoring, creation, and maintenance.

  • Oversee the inter-dependencies between the various SAP modules to manage any collateral effects

  • Support the Site Batch Document Governance

  • Supporting any EBRs handover activities when required

  • Participate in relevant SAP Master Data Forums including attending Community of Practice

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

  • Manage relevant training on master data related matters (ensuring training process is successful)

  • Manage Data Co-Ordinator, ensuring all team Batch Document Activities are performed successfully to meet teams KPIs

  • Manage stakeholder engagement for signing activities (including Matric Managing, Tech M Co-ordination, and Project Management)

  • Site point of contact for Batch Document Related Break fixes

About You:

This role would suit a motivated person who has experience of working in a complex Data environment (utilising SAP). Experience of supply chain within a GMP environment would be advantageous. Good people skills and a proven ability to work in a team (eg; flexible approach, good communication, planning and organizational skills) as well as good writing skills are needed. You will also have a strong continuous improvement growth mindset and a willingness to work towards standardised and lean working practices. At a minimum the role will require Intermediate Word skills, preferably expert.

About Ware Manufacturing Site:

Medicines at Ware are presented as either Respiratory devices or in Oral Solid Dose form. The site holds a unique position in our network as the only site responsible for launching the company’s pipeline of new medicines in these dose forms, many of which are life saving medicines. A series of investments in new state-of-the-art equipment are being made that will support the delivery of a record number of new products.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications and / or experience (eg; data management, good understanding of data-management methodologies in SAP).
