Receptionist
Salary from £26,208 to £29,519 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £31,186 pa inclusive of London allowance
This role is available as either a full-time (35 hours per week) or as a part-time job share role. This is a fixed term appointment for three years.
It is a fully in-person campus-based role to meet the service needs
The LSE Law School is a world-renowned law faculty and vibrant intellectual community of staff and students. The post holder will join the Professional Services team responsible for the Law School Reception.
You will be responsible for the Law School’s Reception Desk and assisting with general operations, providing a high level of service delivery to staff, students and visitors.
Key tasks include:
- Providing reception services including dealing with face-to-face enquiries, telephone calls and email enquiries on campus five days a week.
- Respond to routine student queries referring matters to programme administrators as appropriate.
- Service meetings rooms, kitchens, staff common room and Moot Court Room (occasional lifting required).
- Book meeting rooms, order stationery, collect/distribute reprographics jobs.
- Providing basic administrative support to faculty, students / visitors and Professional Services Staff
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with reception experience or from a customer facing environment. You will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality service delivery to all key stakeholders, demonstrate a positive attitude and be able to use your own initiative when problem solving and managing your own workload.
