Summary of Essential Job Functions
· Summarize initial and updated file material, productions and updates from clients
· Brief initial and updated file materials, productions and undertakings
· Communicate with clients on status updates, requests
· File management consisting of bi-weekly and monthly reviews
· Follow up with undertakings
· Final orders and accounts
· Draft Affidavit of Documents
Qualifications
Education and Experience
· Minimum 5 years of experience as Law Clerk in Insurance Defence or Personal Injury
· Law Clerk diploma and membership in Law Clerks Institute or;
· University degree and eligibility for membership in Law Clerks Institute or;
· Relevant work experience
· Experience summarizing large files an asset
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Experience with PC Law, TimeMatters, and Primafact an asset
· Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent writing and literacy skills
· Proven ability in Microsoft Office
· Superior ability to work as part of a team
· Takes initiative and is motivated to learn new things
