Overview
The role of the Linen Porter is to assist the friendly on site Laundry and Housekeeping teams with all the table linen, bed linen, towels and related linens for the hotel. The role involves clearing the corridors and linen storage rooms of dirty linen throughout the day, delivering and maintaining the required stock levels of linen and supplies within the linen storage rooms. This is a physical role involving heavy lifting and assisting Housekeeping staff with moving extra beds and cots into bedrooms as required. You will also be required to drive an electric buggy to move linen and towels around the estate.
Experience
All necessary training will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to high standards, efficiency and a willingness to learn. A good command of English language and the ability to work in an organised and conscientious manner.
