Being our laundry driver takes precision, organisation and a lot of patience! We do everything for our clients from sourcing the properties, to refurbishment and full listing management. For the guests we’re always on hand to manage their queries, and ensure the maintenance and cleaning is done to the highest standards befitting our portfolio of over 100 beautiful properties.
We are looking for a driver delivering laundry to work locally in Liverpool City Centre for Host So Simple, the city's leading Airbnb management company. The role will involve weekdays and some weekends. The work is offered with a minimum of 20 hours per week though there are typically a lot more hours available than this. Working hours are usually around 9.30 AM - 4:00 PM. You will be driving a 2021 Ford Transit Custom which is a medium sized van. We are a friendly, easy going team with a good working culture. We like to make work enjoyable and offer plenty of opportunities for progression.
Experience & Qualities we are looking for;
- Ideally previous experience in a driving role though this is not essential
- Be self-motivated and well presented.
- Have pride in your work and a good eye for detail.
- Anticipate requirements where possible.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- A clean driving licence is essential.
THE JOB ROLE CONSISTS OF
·Collecting linen from our central storage unit and bagging it up according to the business needs
·Distribute linen and towels around the city centre
·Restock supplies such as soaps, shampoos, tea, coffee, sugar etc.
·Drop off dirty linen at the laundry premises
·Communicating with housekeepers as to your whereabouts and their requirements.
·Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
·Follow all company safety and security procedures
·Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
·Observe and report damage at the properties
