Job description
We are looking for a laundry assistant to join our team and manage the laundry system for a 34-bed residential dementia care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a laundry system to ensure that all residents of the care home have clean clothing and bedding. The ideal candidate should have strong organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a laundry system.
- Ensure all residents' clothing is labelled and put away appropriately.
- Ensure all bedding is clean and manage the changing of bed sheets.
We are offering 15 hours a week to be spread across 5 days, every other week a weekend will need to be worked.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary: From £10.42 per hour
