Job Description
Atlantic have a part-time vacancy 13 hours a week (permanent). The position is varied and involves dealing with the public, handling dry cleaning and laundry, so communication skills are important. The work involves using the washing machines and tumble driers, folding laundry, keeping the shop clean and tidy and generally assisting customers with their own washing.
We are looking for a flexible individual to join our very friendly team, several of whom have been with the company for many years. Full training will be given.
Experience and suitability
We are looking for a mature individual preferably with some experience in retail. (Unfortunately this position is not suitable for a student.)
Working Hours
The job involves working on 3 afternoons, Monday to Saturday. The shift starts at 1pm and finishes at 5.30pm (Saturday 12.30pm to 4.30pm).
Overtime working will occasionally be required.The shop is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, Saturday 8.00am to 4.30pm. Applicants should be flexible and able to cover other shifts from time to time.
