Job description
BWW LAW GROUP, LLC, an "AV" rated real estate law firm with offices in Rockville, Maryland and Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Title Examiner to join our team in our Richmond, VA office. This position is full time (currently a hybrid remote and in office position). Attention to detail is a must to succeed as a part of our team! Our Richmond office provides free employee parking.
Responsibilities:
- Examining title reports to determine property ownership, lien priority, outstanding taxes and other delinquent amounts and defects in title;
- Updating firm and client systems with title summaries;
- Communicating with clients, courts, insurance companies and outside law firms;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- One (1) year of title processing, abstracting or related settlement experience is preferred;
- Ability to handle a large volume of files and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Analytical thinking, research ability and attention to detail;
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to multitask;
- Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent computer, organizational and time management skills;
- High school diploma or equivalent – college coursework desired.
