We have an exciting opportunity within our recently enhanced Leisure and Family Support Service (LAFSS). We are growing our team and the LAFSS Activity and Family Support Organiser is a new post and a great opportunity for those looking to support some of our most vulnerable Children and Young people with a range of disabilities.
You will have a key hands on role in contributing to the emotional, physical and social well-being of vulnerable Children and Young people with a range of disabilities who are participating in short breaks, activity, or require support in the home or wider community.
You will work with the team to discover what is important to the child/ young person’s needs and help them participate in interesting activities and to help identify mainstream opportunities for them to engage with. To help meet their assessed needs in the day service in accordance with both service and statutory requirements.
You will need to meet the essential criteria for the role as set out in the person specification.
