Job description
- To assist skilled operatives in carrying out repairs and maintenance to customer homes in a safe and proper manner, ensuring works are completed to a consistent high standard in addition to providing our customers with their best experience of customer service.
- To provide an efficient and effective service as a member of the Operations Team, creating an environment enjoyable to work in, to include colleagues, both trade and office staff as part of your team.

- Adhere with the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
- Experience of working in a building environment and completing repair work in occupied homes or void properties.
- Able to plan and prioritise to ensure the effective use of own time.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service to all customers.
- Able to form and maintain good working relationships at all levels, internal and externally.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with homeowners, external agencies and office-based colleagues.
- Ability to work safely at height.
- Hold full driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.
- No specific qualifications are required apart from a good knowledge of the building industry.
- PASMA trained.
- Experience working in repairs and maintenance in housing services.
- A knowledge of relevant legislation and/or Codes of Practice i.e., Construction, Building Regulations and Health & Safety.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Competitive salary - £ 24,164.21
- 40 Hours per week (Monday-Friday).
