Job description
Street Lighting Operatives required throughout Somerset (SW England).
The rate and shift/hours are to be confirmed for each location.
You MUST Hold Current HGV Class 2, Drivers CPC, HIAB with Hook attachment. Previous Street Lighting Installations experience is essential and NRSWA would be an advantage.
Duties:
Assisting with the installation of signs/columns, bollards and associated equipment.
Electrical inspection and testing including periodic testing.
24-hour Emergency Response/Out of Hours Standby (to be confirmed).
Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard, with vehicle defect sheet completed correctly.
Carry out works as instructed by the Site Supervisor in a safe manner, within the scope if relevant duties.
The ability to use own initiative, to work under pressure and comply with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies at all times.
