About the Opportunity
An opportunity to join the Jacobs Field Solutions Sellafield based delivery function working in a team of nuclear professionals to support the delivery of multi-disciplined activities whilst supporting the required standards and expectations of the business.
To provide effective management of operative labour, in order to support the BEPDT Construction and Installation Phase site teams at the Sellafield Site. Manage the identification and mobilisation process of BEP JV Blue Collar workforce at Sellafield Site.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Produce weekly labour allocation reports.
- Produce monthly labour plans as well as long term labour strategy plans.
- Recruit labour as and when required.
- Support the HR Business Partner in managing grievance/discipline issues as well as redundancy procedures (as required).
- Manage the transfer of labour ensuring that transfer slips are completed.
- Assist the HR Business Partner in managing the craft employee Performance and Development Review (PDR) process.
- Manage training requirements.
- Advise site administration teams with regards to craft employee benefits i.e. travel and lodging allowances in line with the appropriate National Agree.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience of working within nuclear establishments & following Nuclear Professionalism Standards & Expectations.
- Knowledge of the legislative, regulatory, quality, and environmental requirements relating to nuclear engineering projects.
- Previous experience of manging and leading teams.
- Experience of H&S legislation practices and laws.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualified.
- Experience of Human Resources processes and procedures as well as conducting Support the HR Business Partner in managing grievance/discipline issues as well as redundancy procedures.
- Able to obtain security clearance.
- Site based on the Sellafield site.
