Job description
Job Title: Labourer
Duties:
- Perform physical labour tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth to prepare for construction
- Operate hand tools and power equipment such as jackhammers, drills, and saws
- Assist with the installation of construction materials such as pipes, wires, and concrete
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Good communication skills
