As a Service technician, you will be supplying necessary portable sanitation services to special events, construction sites, and recreation. Each day, you’ll be assigned a daily route sheet of the locations and tasks that need to be completed while communicating with dispatch team and customers. You’ll be responsible to pick-up, deliver, move, and service portable restroom equipment safely and efficiently using a company provided stake-bed/pumper truck and trailer. Service technicians are vital face to face representatives of our company as they are on the front lines taking care of customer needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Pick-up, deliver, move, and service portable restroom equipment safely and efficiently.
- Drive a stake-bed/pumper truck while pulling a trailer.
- Complete required paperwork daily including DOT logs, work orders, and route sheets.
- Work independently and productively while maintaining open communication with the dispatch center.
- Communication, listening, and observation skills are essential to provide excellent customer service.
- Abide by all D.O.T regulations, safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Navigation skills are a plus.
Requirements:
- Valid Class C or better
- Insurable driving record with knowledge of OSHA and DOT safety rules and procedures
- Ability to lift, push, pull 80lbs. regularly and repeatedly.
- Current medical examiner’s certificate or ability to obtain
- Ability to work all seasons and weather conditions
- Flexible schedule with availability to work all days of the week
- 40-60 hour work weeks with 10-12 hour workdays and mandatory overtime
- Safety Conscious and Drug-Free
- Basic knowledge of service area geography
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.77 per hour
