Job title: Carer

Wages:
£12.63 per hour: 8am - 10pm (day time rate)
£55.70 10pm - 8am (sleeping night rate)
Driver: Ideally able to drive but not essential
Purpose of Job: It is the job of the carer to assist the employer in all areas of personal care, household chores and accessing the community.
Hours: 4pm - 10pm Friday, 10am - 10pm Saturday, 10am - 8pm Sunday. 1 weekend per month with extra available at times.
Responsibilities of the Job:
Your role is to meet the needs of the employer and support them to live independently
Confidentiality is crucial
Attend all training and meetings arranged.
The following tasks may or may not form part of your working hours and will vary according to what the employer has planned. Ideally, you will be flexible both in terms of your role and also hours of working which again could be variable according to our plans.
1. Assisting employers to independently take care of their pets
2. Personal care
3. Hoisting
4. Medication
5. Family and community- support to maintain family roles and relationships, access community, run errands and activities etc.
6. Toileting
7. Domestic tasks such as supporting the environment
