Job description
The primary function of the role is to analyse production samples, following laboratory procedures in order to produce accurate, reproducible results, take raw samples directly from the Glass plant and process them.Analyse submitted samples and produce accurate results, respecting agreed deadlines.Prepare sample compliant with the relevant methodology and the required accuracy and precisionConduct the analysis of sample and follow laboratory procedures on various sample types, as submitted, in order to produce accurate, reproducible resultsEnsure the results are available in the relevant IT systemParticipate in the implementation of a uniform system for Quality Assurance in the country.Implement a simple registration and reporting routing and follow up to continuously improve the operational quality of the activitiesExecute internal quality audits and ensure all data is available in the relevant system(s)Manage customer complaints, quality concerns, continuous improvement issues and ensure ISO standards are implemented.Thoroughly understand the principles of operations of the analytical equipment, operatethem correctly.Perform calibration checks of the instruments to the reference.About You:Degree in Chemistry, Material Engineering or comparable/relevant experienceKnowledge of quality procedures, standards and processes in a cross-border operations organisationAudit experienceEnglish – Advanced verbal and writingExcellent knowledge of Health & SafetyA good team member and self-motivatedBasic knowledge of Glass CulletGood interpersonal and time management skillsJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeBenefits:Casual dressCompany pensionCycle to work schemeOn-site parkingSick paySchedule:Day shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityWork authorisation:United Kingdom (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 31/10/2023Reference ID: J009307Expected start date: 01/11/2023
