The Role
Quotient Sciences has an excellent career opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our Analytical Services team at the site in Reading.
In this role, you will ensure that the Analytical Scientists can perform their duties in a timely fashion. You will carry out effective daily laboratory control, maintenance and administration duties as well as proactively perform daily tasks in line with GMP requirements while ensuring the health and safety standard within the laboratory is maintained.
Your core responsibilities will include the cleaning and maintenance of glassware for the laboratory, maintenance of general cleanliness of the analytical laboratory as well, maintaining supplies of consumables and chemicals in the laboratory and collecting and delivering purchased goods from the stores. You will also be across all administration within the laboratory and ensuring that all pharmaceutical and solvent waste is removed from the lab.

The Candidate
You will have previous experience in a similar role or a minimum HND/HNC qualification. You will also preferably have a basic understanding of or experience working to cGMP. You must have great communication skills, be highly organised and have the ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
