In this role, you will be working in the Residue Analysis department at Eye, Suffolk where the main responsibilities include:
Cleaning and drying laboratory glassware
Ordering internal & external supplies and lab consumables
Proactively managing consumable stock levels
Monitoring the temperatures of storage areas
Disposing of laboratory waste according to proper procedures
General housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of laboratory area
Assisting with and supervising sample receipt, storage and disposal
Preparing and processing samples for designated studies
Assisting in the analysis of samples for assigned studies
Assisting in the setup of analytical runs on the instrumentation
Assisting in the checking of analytical data
