Reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager you will work as part of a small team of Analysts to ensure all products are of the highest quality through the testing of raw materials, intermediate bulk products, finished products and stability samples. Working with GMP guidelines you will have visibility across the business in a role which is vital to maintaining the quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing raw materials, in-process & finished products, stability samples and investigational/complaint samples.
- Perform goods inwards inspection, sampling and release of raw materials.
- Method development and validation of new analytical methods where required.
- Participate in internal audits, prepare/edit SOP’s and author reports where required.
- Troubleshooting for Prodcut complaint investigations
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and other relevant site equipment
- Perform Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments.

What you’ll need
- A relevant Science based degree, ideally Chemistry – Essential
- Experience or academic knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC – Essential
- Knowledge of analytical skills and wet chemistry technique such as titrations and various sample preparation techniques- Essential
- Knowledge of GMP and GLP for testing pharmaceuticals/medical devices - Essential
- Ability to perform analysis of samples/products against technical specifications - Essential
- A working knowledge of laboratory health and safety - Beneficial
- Understanding the requirements of ISO 13485 - Beneficial
