DeSilva Gates Construction, Northern California’s established heavy civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Labor Compliance Specialist to join our Accounting Department in the Dublin office. The ideal candidate would bring Labor Compliance experience and demonstrate keen attention to detail regarding compliance standards. As a Compliance Specialist, you will take part in the various reporting requirements to ensure labor compliance standards are met.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Support Compliance and Certified Payroll efforts, providing analytical assistance and reporting.
- Monitor compliance standards to ensure company policies are up to date.
- Identify potential issues, provide solutions within standards.
- Compile compliance documents for distribution electronically and hard copies.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ labor compliance experience in the construction field.
- Exposure to Certified Payroll is preferred but not required.
- Detail oriented and highly organized professional.
- Able to work effectively in an independent setting and follow-up regarding questions, issues, etc.
- Willing to learn new programs and procedures.
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, Elations and LCP Tracker.
- Able to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate with personnel of all levels.
- Required to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
