Job description
Tazaki Foods Ltd is currently recruiting for a Labeller & Cleaner on a full time basis, to work Monday to Friday from 09:00 - 18:00. The salary on offer is £22,000 plus 28 days holidays including bank holidays (increasing up to 35 days with length of service), free secured parking, pension auto enrolment with up to 5% Employer contribution, Life Assurance together with continuous developments and long term career prospects and social events.
The Labeller & Cleaner is responsible for working in the warehouse labelling customers’ orders accurately, neatly and in a timely fashion in order to meet the required customer delivery schedules. Orders are generally received one day in advance but often orders are received early in a day for delivery on the same day. This role is also responsible for cleaning duties in the warehouse and the facilities including toilets, changing rooms and staff canteen.
Key Tasks/ Responsibilities:
- To print labels on the warehouse printer as required.
- To notify the Warehouse Manager as soon as there is any problem with the warehouse printer.
- To fix labels to picked goods as required. The labels are to be fixed neatly and as per instructions (i.e. not to cover the bar code, best before date or across the product name on the front of the package).
- To put the labelled products back in their packaging as neatly as possible and reseal as required.
- To keep all orders together once the goods have been labelled.
- To keep the warehouse clean & tidy at all times, including regular lavatory cleaning and check list filling in for downstairs toilets.
- To assist in stock counts/checks as and when required.
- To assist in picking as required and return completed Pick Sheets to the appropriate person as soon as they are completed.
- To assist in any other warehouse duties as required and requested by management.
