Job description
The School of Engineering is looking to appoint a General Laboratory Technician to support a wide variety of teaching and research activities. You will be able to interact with academic and research staff and students at all levels, and demonstrate a high degree of skill in providing technical support in a demanding environment.
You will have a BTEC Higher Level (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant discipline with a flexible attitude to work and working hours, you must possess a range of skills relevant to a world-class academic Engineering environment. You will be able to provide an excellent level of support within a Laboratory based environment, and be capable of supporting, or have the potential to be trained in, a variety of modern research environments including; Hydraulic, Fluid and High-Speed Water Channel laboratories.
