Lab Technician
Location: Baker street, London
Salary: £23- 25k depending on experience
Working hours: Full time – including weekends
Experience level: previous lab experience is essential for this role
Contract: 12 months contract with 3 months probation - leading to a permanent contract
Marylebone Diagnostic Centre is based in Baker Street, London, and provides UK-based and international customers with a comprehensive range of excellent private diagnostic services. We are a young and innovative group, our objective is to provide fast and reliable diagnostic services.
We mainly focus on testing blood, drug, sexually transmitted diseases, genetics, biochemistry, COVID-19, and cancer screening. These tests include: Blood Test: Full Blood Count, Standard Coagulation Study, Anticoagulants, Long Covid Dedicated Test, Sepsis Pre-surgery Screening. Biochemistry: Profiles like General Biochemistry, Hematology, Diabetics, Bone Markers, Vitamins, Electrolytes, Thyroid, Kidney, Liver, Lipids, Iron, Inflammatory Panel, Pregnancy Test. Sexually Transmitted Diseases: HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Mycoplasma, Trichomonas, Ureaplasma, Gardnerella, Herpes, Candida, HPV, MRSA. Covid-19: PCR Test, Proof of Recovery Letter, Immunity Test Measuring Neutralizing Antibod, FLU Rapid Test. Virus: Monkeypox PCR. Drug Test: Substance screening Genetics: Whole Genome Sequencing.
With your previous knowledge in medical laboratory, you will be part of a team responsible for dealing with our patients to the highest standard.
Requirements:
- Science degree
- Excellent customer service
- Qualified Phlebotomy
- Experienced with some of our laboratory equipments such as: Hematology analyser, biochemistry analyser, cobas analyzer, Microscope.

Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
