Are you looking for a MLA position with a desire to work as part of the largest NHS led Pathology Services in the UK? You will be based at Wexham Park Hospital.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The post holder will be based on Blood Sciences SAS section providing comprehensive administrative support on behalf of the Send away Section (SAS) in Blood Sciences.
The post holder will provide distribution and data entry services for Pathology reports and samples. This will include responsibility for sorting and distribution of incoming mail for the department.
Assist in the preparation of analytical work for Blood Sciences Department across a range of scientific disciplines under the supervision of a Registered Biomedical Scientist
Ensures accurate stock records are maintained and process stock delivery
To deputise SAS band 4 Associate Practitioner.
The post holder is expected to cover 24/7 shift in Biochemistry/Blood Sciences.

The post holder will liaise closely with the line manager in providing a high-quality technical service that builds on the standards defined by the UKAS and ISO 15189:2012. They will be expected to develop and maintain close working relationships with all grades of staff both technical and medical to ensure the effective delivery of the technical service.
