So, we are currently on the lookout for a fabulous L&D Consultant to join our People team, reporting directly into our CPO.
As an L&D consultant at Benefex, you'll be the driving force behind our onboarding efforts. You will have the key role in designing and delivering an excellent onboarding experience for new Benefexers that will be joining us in multiple different locations, globally! But the fun doesn’t stop there, you will be the driving force in delivering a positive and inclusive learning culture with a huge focus on evolving and nurturing our already very talented Benefexers!
There will be a huge focus on Management and leadership development, an area you will play a key role in delivering and constantly developing this, you will work with stakeholders across the business and across the globe, we are on a mission to Benefex the world! This role will require an agile ability to deliver the most engaging and inclusive learning experience, through a variety of adaptable methods.
So, what else will you be doing?
- Deliver training, whether that’s onboarding new starters into the business, training people on employee benefits, our products, policies, processes, and just generally helping people achieve their full potential.
- Work with managers and people around the business to help deliver the results they’re looking for.
- Create learning material, whether those are PowerPoint slides, handouts, or training plans for an in-person or remote training session, or whether those are documentation and eLearning resources using software like Lessonly so people can learn in their own time
- Maintain and evaluate everything you’re a part of to make sure the training and material you’re delivering are up to date and giving great results!
You will also look after:
- Onboarding all our wonderful new Benefexers
Benefex University – planning it out, organising it, advertising it, working with (and helping) hosts and employees attending - Lessonly – helping employees use it, doing general admin, reviewing the content, making sure it’s the best it can be
- Any training in other areas as needed (creating and leading it) – developing and delivering People Manager training is a key area of focus for this role
What skills and experience will you have?
- An advocate for the Benefex mission and culture – this is very important to us!
- A confident public speaker, not afraid of being challenged and asked tough questions in front of an audience.
- An organised and efficient planner, who can manage time, resource, and logistics of remote and on-site training.
- A strategic approach to all things training, ensuring that learning objectives always align to the business goals.
- Great at time management and prioritising a busy workload.
- A confident writer, with a good grasp of grammar and written English. We also like some humour here at Benefex
- Eager to learn and solve problems.
- Ability to work with Lessonly and other digital tools Experience delivering and designing training

Location and work pattern:
While this role will be worked predominantly on a remote or hybrid basis, we are looking for someone who is able to attend the Southampton office on a minimum of 1 day a month basis.
