Job description
The Global KYC Operations SME will support the KYC Operations Director with the operational oversight of the KYC Centres of Excellence.
He/she will be expected to develop/maintain operational procedures and reporting frameworks, implement and run the established operational framework for the centralized management of: Quality, Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, Training and Operational Risk Management across the Global KYC CoEs and Governance structures, as well as implementing and managing the operational and reporting structures necessary to ensure an ongoing Continuous Improvement agenda is operational and delivering results to the Centres of Excellence and wider Network. The KYC Operations SME will support the KYC Operations Director with the overall operational oversight of the GKYC CoEs.
Key responsibilities include the following:
Support design and delivery of strategic priorities, management of projects and programs under the guidance of the KYC Operations Director
Support the Operationalisation of programme deliverables and strategic priorities on behalf / in support of the Director of KYC Operations
Build and maintain an agile framework and structure to service Global KYC CoEs with metrics and a reporting framework to accurately articulate Operational and Compliance Risks
Support the KYC Operations director with managing quality, risk and governance across the CoEs
Support delivery of a scalable and standardised approach to prioritization, workload management, production planning and capacity management to be deployed across all territories and CoEs.
Proactively assess areas for improvement of operating model, process automation and KYC data and document sources, support continuous improvement around quality and productivity levels.
Support the roll out and management of the Quality Assurance and Talent Management Programme across the CoEs
Develop new or amend existing desktop procedures and operating manuals and all relevant KYC documentation, sites and artefacts in use at the CoEs.
Develop a structure and formal process to support the policy teams with operational matters and the production of guidance and operational procedures for the CoEs.
Support the Change Management process across the KYC CoEs, KYC Technology Stack and KYC Network M.R, by providing SME input on Impact of proposed changes and design input on business requirements
Maintain the KYC CoE Governance documentation and Framework, including Change Management
Ensuring BAU activities and governance are set up and delivered in line with the agreed framework and timelines .
Productivity analysis including identifying changes or improvements to reduce KYC Turnaround time or improve end user experience
Coordinate with the KYC Technology lead on systems access and testing
Assess and identify emerging industry trends, to ensure KYC process remains agile and responsive to changing territory and Network needs
Track, manage and share lessons Learned from previous projects with senior client and internal stakeholders highlighting applicability to new projects.

Operations experience on large scale, global operational programmes and managed services is a must
Screening knowledge and expertise, in a client facing enviroment
SME level experience in KYC/AML processes, Risk Management and Compliance in a multi-jurisdictional operating environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical issues to a non-technical audience, extensive relevant operational experience, negotiation and project management skills
Ability to influence, interact with stakeholders at all levels;
Experience of working in a multicultural and multi-language environment;
Demonstrates ability to work in both a team environment and independently;
The applicant should be highly motivated and detail-oriented.
Ability to lead and motivate individuals within a fast-paced environment
Understanding of risk management in professional services environment
Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
