KYC Analyst
Glasgow
As a Barclays KYC (Know Your Customer) Analyst, you will get an opportunity to obtain, complete and maintain all regulatory KYC documentation for our Clients in accordance with the Bank's guidelines with UK & Global financial regulations. In your role, you will provide business critical KYC technical support to the relationship owners and Enhanced Due Diligence teams. You will also liaise directly with teams and clients to gather KYC information, delivering excellent client service while managing confidential client information.

What will you be doing?
- Providing End to End dedicated and robust specialist KYC expertise throughout the Onboarding and Refresh Process
- Using expert KYC knowledge, communication and problem solving skills to analyse KYC information, that has been provided by Clients or sourced from the public domain
- Maintaining a high standard of accuracy during all stages of the Client review, working towards ‘right first time’ objectives, taking ownership to resolve issues
- Helping the Relationship Team by providing direct Client & EDD contact throughout all stages the KYC team’s processes
- Using excellent communication skills to explain the reasons for our KYC requirements, to manage Client expectations regarding our processing times
- Working closely with other KYC Managers to support KYC Leadership in delivering an outstanding performance across the team
- Contributing to a positive and proactive working culture by sharing knowledge and expertise both locally and Globally
- Assisting the Relationship Team by providing direct Client contact throughout all stages the KYC team’s processes to enhance the speed of client delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Ability to flex styles to the needs of different colleagues, stakeholders and Clients
- Ability to proactively manage your workload effectively to complete complex and high-priority tasks within target timescales
- Experience of stakeholder management and working with Financial Crime and Relationship Teams
- Knowledge, understanding and experience of the importance of KYC to the Bank through the various lenses; i.e risk and regulation
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Knowledge of the End to End KYC process
- Knowledge of the legislation that affects Barclays and our Clients (Data Protection Act, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, Financial Services Act, Money Laundering)
- Experience in reviewing company structures, organisations and ownership – for example Trusts
- Ability to utilise language skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the business
