Role summary
KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) Advisory’s business continues to expand in keeping with its ambitious growth goals; thus, creating a critical need to expand the Quality & Risk Management (QRM) team. A new permanent role is being established to join the KDN QRM team to support its advisory-aligned quality and risk management operations and strategic direction in furtherance of KDN’s business ambitions. Specifically, we are looking for a high-performing Manager to support these efforts, and otherwise play an important role in QRM’s activities across a range of KDN policy and process related initiatives.
How you will make you mark
- Drive delivery and project management for significant KDN for Advisory QRM initiatives
- Policy, technical white papers, communication development for distribution to KDN for Advisory stakeholders
- Research and preliminary recommendation development for significant problem solving of practice issues
- Perform risk review and acceptance of KDN engagements including coordinating with solution leads on understanding scope of work, services, alignment with approved KDN services, contracting checks, sanctions screening and coordination global mobility for travel and tax impact
- Review and intake additional discretionary services including technology risk review in accordance with GQ&RM guidance
- Participation in implementation of Advisory QRM quality monitoring programs, including Global SoQM/KQCE processes
- Play a key role in other Advisory QRM projects and strategic initiatives in connection with key KDN business activities
- Key involvement in various other KDN-wide internal quality assurance and monitoring programs including collaborating with cross functional teams on key projects
- Support QRM leadership in various daily risk and operational matters experienced by Advisory’s Global Delivery Centres (GDCs)
- Otherwise support KDN for Advisory’s business operations – including cross functional quality and risk initiatives lead by KDN central QRM and the Global QRM team, along with KDN Advisory’s Global Delivery Centres
This is the job for you if you have:
Technical skills:
- Experience in an Advisory/Consulting role with a KPMG member firm
- Experience with Quality and Risk Management activities includes client, engagement acceptance and risk reviews
- Experienced in delivering and leading complex projects
- Ability to distinguish proper balance between risk tolerance and business objectives
- Experience with shared services/delivery centre environment a plus but not required
- Demonstrated understanding of technology risks regarding technology-based engagement delivery models and enterprise technology
- Demonstrated understanding of managed services-based delivery models and all relevant QRM aspects (technology, operating model, quality and resources models, SOC certifications etc.).
- Strong risk management awareness
