Position Statement:

Opportunities are available both within the Hotel and the Percy French with a range of shifts to accommodate work/life balance.

As a Kitchen Steward you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring efficient operation of the kitchen function and delivery of clean crockery and cutlery
• Ensuring kitchen areas are maintained in a clean and tidy manner
• Ensuring all equipment and materials are used correctly and any problems reported
• Maintaining the security and cleanliness of stock areas at all times
• Complying with all health, safety and hygiene procedures
• Working effectively with all internal stakeholders, ensuring a high standard of communication is adhered to
• Assisting the Chefs as required

Essential Criteria

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to take direction and work independently

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience within a similar role
