Kitchen Team Member
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the kitchen supervisor or chef.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation of food.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Stock and rotate food supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
