The Rhu Inn finally returns!
The Rhu Inn has been extensively and sympathetically refurbished from top to bottom. With a great traditional bar, beautiful rooms with stunning views over the river Clyde, a brand-new kitchen offering freshly prepared local food, fine whiskies, and everything else you would expect from your local pub.
A friendly welcome awaits our very patient regulars and visitors from near and far. The village local is back!

The Roles
Head Chef
£25-35k The kitchen is your domain. You’ll lead your team expertly through service, and take complete control of the delivery of the food aspect of the business. You’ll lead our kitchen team in the production of creative, fresh dishes that you and our Executive Chef will have developed to suit your customers. You will need a commercial head, as well as exceptional cooking skills, and you’ll also be a great communicator, calm under pressure, and driven by a shared vision of the customer experience.
Chef de Partie
As Chef de Partie, whatever section of the kitchen you’re entrusted with, you’ll treat it like your baby. Organised, prepared and experienced, you’ll keep your Sous Chef and Head Chef looking forward and focussed on the bigger picture. Calm under pressure and a passion for cooking, the kitchen is where you thrive.

Kitchen Assistant
Kitchen Assistant The kitchen porter is dead. Long live the Kitchen Assistant. This is more than just pots, pans and peeling potatoes. We’re looking for someone who wants to be a valued member of the team and perform an equally valuable role in the kitchen. We’re looking for someone with previous kitchen and food prep experience, who wants to go to the next level and play a bigger part.
