We’re looking for a number of KP Assistants to join our team. Full or part time to be discussed at interview.
A mix of weekday, weekend and evening shifts, across multiple locations. (Near Falmouth & Near Hayle)
KITCHEN PORTER
THE ROLE
The kitchen porter ensures that the kitchen, its equipment, and ancillary areas are kept clean, tidy and free from obstruction. You will have high standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene to the standard required by the restaurant and by law.
You’d be required to be flexible in your role; operating the dishwasher, wash-up & daily kitchen cleaning tasks, deep cleans, all implemented under the instruction of our chefs & kitchen team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Ensure the cleaning, as required by the executive chef, of all kitchen equipment, utensils, floor and working surfaces in the kitchen and adjacent areas is carried out to the restaurant standards
· Any H&S issues to be reported to the senior chef
· The floor area must be cleaned daily
· To be fully aware of the fire precautions in the kitchen area and the whereabouts and operation of the extinguishers
· Wash crockery, cutlery and ensure that work surfaces are clean and tidy
· To clean all pots in the pot wash area, and to maintain cleanliness of the area
· Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness whilst in the work place
· Maintain an organised, clean and safe work place, not only for yourself but also for those around
· To correctly record all waste in the appropriate method.

Must be able to use initiative and physically able to work in a fast paced kitchen and restaurant. Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
Experience in a similar role would be useful but not essential.

Salary: £7,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
