Job description
- Catering assistants provide an exceptional service to staff, patients and visitors within the hospital. Working in the hospital kitchen, they ensure hygiene and health and safety levels are up to standard within the kitchen. Focussing on the hygiene of the kitchen and delivery of trolleys to wards, previous kitchen porter experience would be an advantage for this role.

Main Duties of the Job
- Tidy upkeep of the food preparation and serving areas, as well as any equipment used to include washing plates, utensils etc.
- Delivering food trolleys to wards and to the kitchen
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards and apply food safety procedures
- Correctly use and take care of all equipment, store goods and use stock on a rotational basis
