Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our team at Farro Bakery.
Your main responsibilities will include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen/FOH, bakery equipment, floors, putting deliveries away and maintaining general cleanliness and order in the bakery. This is a demanding role so requires a level of physical fitness.
You will work alongside the bakery team and report to the head baker. Prior experience in a busy kitchen/restaurant environment is essential. Also required is an ability to work efficiently, follow instructions, and to possess good communication skills.
Responsibilities mat also include some food preparation once other duties have been carried out, but please note there is no baking involved.
We provide Level 2 food safety training and allergen awareness as part of our on boarding. The team is very friendly and we always endeavour to create a fun working environment. There's staff discount and free coffee on shift, Along with a paid lunch break.
The working week is 4 days at Farro and we are offering a minimum of 32 Hrs a week @11pHr. The shifts will usually be 8am - 4pm and you will be required to work Friday and Saturday most weeks.
This is a permanent position on Payroll.
