Kitchen Manager - Pub
Salary: £37,000 to £40,000 DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced high-volume food operator who has a passion for food to manage the kitchen at this amazing pub in Bexley Heath, Greater London.

The Role:
- The site is a beautiful business located in the Bexley Heath.
- Pub & Dining encapsulates the relaxed atmosphere of a suburban local pub.
- This pub is a great meeting point for locals, walking groups and dog walkers.
- Guests can enjoy a pint by the fire pit in the secret garden, the trade peaks in the warmer summer months because of the beautiful park location.
- The trade is approx. 50/50 food to wet spilt.
Candidate:
- As a Kitchen Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team to control, develop and improve the food offering of the business including P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service, and brand integrity.
Key responsibilities:
- To manage and be responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operations of the business.
- To manage the BOH team, and with the General Manager, manage the kitchen staff.
- To oversee and manage the lunch and dinner services.
- To open and close the Kitchen as required.
- To oversee the completion of all duties involved in running the kitchen.
- To control all operational costs and ensure financial budgets and targets are achieved.
- To deal with all maintenance issues immediately and to a satisfactory resolution.
- To apply all legal policies and requirements.
- To always ensure the health & safety of all guests and staff.
