ADS Truck Parking
I am still looking for a highly motivated chef to join our team!
We are a busy truck stop where HGV drivers stay overnight after a hard day on the road.
It is a light hearted atmosphere with ALL drivers respected on site.
We are a highly recommended Truck stop {Secure parking for HGV's} in the U.K.We serve home cooked food and cakes.We require a Kitchen Chef to run the cafe from: -
- 10:00 - 19:00 Sunday
- Duties: -
serving breakfast from 10:00 -12:00 / 12:00 - 19:00- preparing the Carvery and specials ready for Monday plus making a product list required for the following week, Take payment from the till/card terminal {full training provided}.
- 14:00 -22:00. Monday - Thursday
- Duties : -
preparing home cooked food for drivers staying at our truck stop {including Carvery}
- Overtime if the candidate would like to do some on Friday, Friday is quiet but we are happy for the candidate to come in and prepare the kitchen and help serve any food on a Friday evening.
The food required to serve is Home cooked food
- Hot meats from the Carvery {drivers help themselves to veg etc
- Pies
- Curries
- Specials
- main meals {off our menu board}
- Home cooked Cakes.
The successful candidate would have an input on the menu and could bring their ideas to the menu.
The busy times are approximately 17:00 - 21:00 this gives the Chef time to prepare the evening meals.
WHAT I WANT FROM A CHEF {A. SARGENT M.D/CEO}
I want a chef not to fabricate what he/she has done in the past I want to hear what they can bring to my business.
I am looking for a chef who is forward thinking, be able to plan at least 5/10 meals to be added to the menu for the following days/week, A chef who can generally plan the cafe and it's menu - run the cafe- bring something else to my company.

I honestly don't mind paying a higher wage for the correct candidate {once they have proven themselves I have a Per hour in mind which can be discussed at interview}
