Job description
We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The right candidate will be someone with previous experience in a kitchen environment, who has the ability to multi-task, take direction well and works well under pressure. The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for preparing ingredients, plating food and transporting finished dishes from the kitchen to the dining room and is an integral part of our kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Keep kitchen clean and in order.
- Follow instructions given by the head chef.
- Prepare food products to meet quality standards.
- Ensure the kitchen is stocked with the necessary supplies.
- Answer customer inquiries.
- Display a welcoming demeanor to customers.
- Follow safety regulations.
- Answer phones and complete simple tasks such as exchanging money, handling cash, accepting credit cards, and taking messages.

Salary: £7.50-£9.50 per hour
