Portobello Restaurant is a small business in Nottingham. We are professional and agile.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant/Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes and utensils are washed and stored correctly, and disposing of all food waste in a safe and hygienic manner, also help chefs to prepare food. The ideal candidate should have excellent organisational skills, be able to work quickly and efficiently, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed.
- Organise and store supplies in an orderly manner.
- Remove waste from the kitchen area.
- Assist with food preparation as needed.
- Prepare food for the service
- Help cooking during service
Job Type: Part-time
