Kitchen Assistant

The catering department provides home cooked, nutritious meals twice a day, 7 days a week, to our clients in the on-site restaurant, breakfast and dinner, and a Sunday Roast.

The role of kitchen assistant is to assist the chef in basic food preparation, keeping food preparation surfaces clean and tidy, clearing of crockery and cutlery, washing up, cleaning down after service and getting ready for the next day.


Salary (part-time role) £9,753.12 per annum. The full-time equivalent for this role would be £21,673.00 per annum, dependent on experience/qualifications.

The available role is for 18 hours per week Monday to Friday, 16.00 to 19.00 and Sundays 13.00 to 16.00.
