We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The Kitchen Helper will perform routine kitchen duties such as
· Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
· Assisting chef as required
· Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
· Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed.
· Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
· Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
· Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
· Observing cooking times and correct temperatures
· Other duties as reasonably required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
