As a Kitchen Assistant, the right candidate will be responsible for carrying out cleaning in the kitchen as per the weekly and daily cleaning schedules, washing of pots, kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware and supporting the chef with food preparation.
The ideal candidate would be someone who is:
- Friendly and approachable (with customers and staff alike)
- A good team player
- Flexible with working hours and able to work some unsociable hours
- Someone who is reliable and who has good time keeping
- Have your own transport to get to and from work (due to remote location)
- It would be beneficial but not compulsory to have previous experience working in a kitchen or as a kitchen porter.
Your shifts will vary on a weekly basis but as a full time team member will be around 25-40 hours per week. Meals whilst on duty, on the job training and statutory holiday entitlement will all be provided at no additional cost.
