Part Time Kitchen Assistant
Salary: £10.42 per hour
Working Hours: 17.5 hours per week (on average) 5 hours per shift, shift times: 10am-3pm
The Opportunity as a Kitchen Assistant:
We are looking for a kitchen assistant to assist the chef and assistant cook, in carrying out all delegated tasks in all areas of the kitchen, and maintaining a very high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
Main Duties And Responsibilities of a Kitchen Assistant
- To ensure that all areas of the kitchen are clean and tidy at all times.
- To ensure that all equipment is thoroughly washed.
- To report all defects, damage and breakages to the chef / assistant cook.
- To assist in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen duties.
- To assist with the preparation of vegetables, sandwiches etc.
- To work at times in other areas other than your normal place of employment as required.
- To be well presented at all times.
