Our Store Support in Leicester are looking for Kitchen Assistant to work a minimum 30 hours per week. The hours will be spread across 4 days but should be flexible to spread over 5 days.
Working days are Tuesday – Friday. Could occasionally vary to cover holidays, sickness etc.

Contributing to a range of expectations, including food and beverage preparation, excellent customer service and continuously developing and upholding customer relationships. Also includes:
- Assistant the Chef in food preparation across day and occasional evening service periods.
- Assume responsibility for food production in the Chef’s absence.
- Promoting and implementing food safety standards.
- Involvement in all café opening/closing/daily activities.
- Placing stock orders in line with weekly requirements and minimising waste.
- Ensuring food presentation and serving continuity is at the highest of standards and consistent for all our colleagues
- Assist the front of house colleagues serving customers when required.
- And finally, a positive attitude
Whilst meeting high standards for Health and Safety and Food Hygiene, our Store Support onsite coffee shop function as part of a tight knit team, working well under pressure, striving to deliver excellent food and customer service standards every day to our colleagues.

You’ll have previous involvement working effectively with others and you’ll ideally have prior work experience in a similar environment.
