About us;
Duke on the Green has stood proudly overlooking Parsons Green since 1791. It was completely rebuild in the 1890s and is now a Grade 2 listed building. It was named after the Third son of King George II, Prince William, The Duke of Cumberland and traded under that name in the late 1900s.
We are lovely British Pub in a lovely area. We serve a range of popular lagers and the classic Young's real ales; Original and Special. Our range of wines and spirits can be overwhelming at first but nothing that a professional should struggle with! We also serve a range of cocktails that change with the seasons.
The Duke on the Green is both family and dog friendly and we hope that every member of staff gives our customers a warm welcome and makes them feel valued.

What we look for in a Kitchen Assistant;
We are looking for an existing Kitchen Assistant or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who considers themselves to have a passion to work within a reliable team that delivers high quality standards. We need hard-working and dedicated people behind the scenes to help our restaurants run smoothly and to ensure that they are always clean and tidy. As the successful Kitchen Porter you will:
- Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team
- Have high standards and a great work ethic
- You will show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills
- Be working alongside your kitchen team and will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
- Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
