Job description
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team within a residential care home setting.
30 hours per week, 9am - 3pm, including alternate weekends.

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory DBS clearance and references.
The successful application will be required to undertake a Food Hygiene Training.

Main Purpose of Job:
To keep the Kitchen, Dining Room and Stores clean and organised.
Main tasks of job:
- To operate the dishwasher and clean pots as required.
- To assist in taking in deliveries to the kitchen.
- To organise and clean storage areas.
- To prepare the Dining Area for meals and clear away after meals.
- To conduct all procedures within the home, with due regard to health and safety legislation.
- To undertake other duties as instructed by the manager within limitation of skill.
- To take part in staff meetings and training as directed.
- To follow the general kitchen cleaning rota and keep records of duties as listed
- To keep required paperwork up to date as required.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week
