We are partnering with a fantastic brand who has a five-star reputation within their marketplace to find a permanent, full time Key Account Managerto join their team in Shirley, Solihull.
The Key Account Manager role offers a salary of £35,000- £45,000 per annum, dependant on skills/ experience. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5pm and Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm. Furthermore, the role offers 22 days holiday per annum + statuary holidays, rising to 24 days after 5 years’ service.
As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for Managing & Developing a portfolio of existing key customers within your allocated sectors. You will be PC literate, organized and possess excellent customer handling skills.
What will I be doing within the Key Account Manager role?
- Developing existing customers by creating partnerships.
- Produce, implement, and maintain account development plans for portfolio of customers.
- Identifying and developing new opportunities within your portfolio of customers.
- Providing accurate forecasting from your portfolio of customers.
- Achieving monthly KPI’s and revenue targets in line with the companies’ requirements.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant products and services.
- Develop internal relationships with colleagues across the business to be able to provide the best level of service to your customers.
- Actively assisting and supporting colleagues as required.
What do I need to be considered for the Key Account Manager position?
- Confident telephone manner and tenacious sales approach.
- Account development skills.
- Understanding and exposure to tenders.
- Ability to apply / win / manage public - private tenders.
- Self-motivated and confident in using initiative, will take ownership and accountability.
- Ability to create solutions for customers business needs.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- Strong attention to detail and administrative skills.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint / CRM.
- Highly organised.
