This role is field based throughout Europe with the requirement for regular meetings at our Head Office in Selby, North Yorkshire and various UK locations as required.
The purpose of the role:
- Building and extending relationships with existing private labels clients both in the UK (30%) and Internationally (70%)
- Identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue and growth
- Achieving designated sales targets
- Supporting the Product Development teams by providing relevant client feedback
- Attending trade events and exhibitions in collaboration with internal Marketing and Sales teams
- Work closely with Regulatory, Quality and Customer Service teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
Main tasks of the role:
- Prioritise activity to focus on biggest opportunities
- Create and manage forecasting & pipeline of growth opportunities
- Manage demand forecasting with purchasing & operations
- Have an in-depth knowledge of all accounts, to align and support long-term goals for the GBUK business
The ideal person for the role:
- Has a minimum of five years successful B2B sales experience
- Ideally has a medical device or healthcare sales background
- Has outstanding communication and influencing skills alongside excellent negotiation, engagement and relationship building skills
- Be able to adapt account management strategy
- Strong commercial acumen and value-based selling
- Have the ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
- Problem solver; capable of working to strict deadlines and influencing others to do the same. Project Management skills an advantage.
- Must be flexible to travel as and when required
- It would be advantageous to have experience in International Contract negotiation
Salary:
- In the region of £40,000 negotiable depending on experience
