Position Overview:
As a Key Account Manager at Duration Brewery, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding our relationships with current wholesale customers while actively seeking out new wholesalers, pub groups, and potential export opportunities regionally and nationally. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is enthusiastic about the craft beer industry, possesses strong business acumen, and has a knack for building long-lasting partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale customers, ensuring their needs are met, and they are provided with exceptional customer service.
- Business Development: Identify and approach new wholesalers, pub groups, and potential export partners to expand our market presence and increase sales.
- Market Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions, providing valuable insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms and agreements with key accounts, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective account management and new business development efforts.
- Export Operations: Manage and develop export opportunities, including international market research, regulatory compliance, and logistics coordination.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and customer feedback.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in key account management and business development within the beverage or craft beer industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse market trends and customer data to inform business strategies.
- Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as needed.
- Export experience is a plus.
- Passion for craft beer and the craft beer industry.
