Job description
We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to project manage and help coordinate the smooth running of Hodder & Stoughton’s rapidly growing range of signed, special and exclusive editions. These are supplied to a number of retailers including WHS, small chains, Independents, Waterstones and U.K. subscription boxes, as well as direct to consumers via the Hachette Special Edition Books website. The role will also provide ad hoc support to the wider Hodder sales team as required.
Who we are looking forThe ideal candidate will be proficient in managing a varied and wide range of costings and projects. They will be supremely organised, with a meticulous eye for detail, and have excellent communication skills. They will have a good knowledge of all stages of the production process, be aware of basic contractual terms, be used to dealing with complicated timelines and schedules and have a keenness to engage effectively with a wide range of contacts and stakeholders, both within Hodder & Stoughton and the wider Hachette business.

The role will be based at our London office, Carmelite House, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
